What Makes Us Different

Locally Sourced

We try our best to use locally sourced materials, wool, beeswax, steel wire, yarn etc. because it is important to protect the environment.

Natural Ingredients

We try our best to find organically dyed wool but unfortunately, we can't always guarantee that the dyes are organic. Because the wool we use is natural, it is possible that there can be small amounts of dried grass and straw in it.

Respect for natur

We love and respect nature, and it is important for us that both humans, animals and nature are treated with kindness and care.

We are a small family art and craft company producing one-off wool craft creations. Our speciality is luxury, Scandinavian style, Christmas decorations and display objects, but we make so much more and can produce items to special order if you have your own ideas for your own unique Christmas decorations, presents for children or grandchildren etc.

This all started as a hobby and has grown into a passion and our own little business. All our creations are handmade from scratch, and we strive to keep our environmental footprint as small as possible. We do this by seeking to source locally produced, environmentally friendly materials as far as possible including our packaging.

Joy and happyness

Mr. Stag is out looking for a new home to call his own. This particular example has already found a new home, but we can create a new one to order, uniquely made for you. No two of our creations are the same so your Anoebie Woolcraft creation will be unique to you.

We can create unique items and designs to order for your children, grandchildren, special occasions, or even just as a treat for yourself. The raw material, wool, is never completely identical from batch to batch because it is a natural product so our creations are just as individual as our natural wool.

The two hares are having lunch. They've found a nice, juicy, carrot each and a tasty leaf.

As with all our creations, the hares are pure, natural, wool, built up over a wire skeleton which allows their poses to be altered to suit your own requirements and preferences.

Either of these two charming characters will brighten your home, but don't ask them to share their lunch with you!

Discover our Christmas world

I love Christmas and especially decorating for Christmas. In Denmark, Christmas preparations always begin the 1st Sunday in Advent when we drink julegløgg (mulled wine) and eat æbleskiver. We also light the first candle on our adventskrans (advent wreath), light a fire if we have a stove or fireplace and enjoy the first Christmas day with family and friends.

As I'm Danish and Scandinavian, of course, I love all the Scandinavian Christmas traditions.

In Scandinavia, we have Nisser (elves). Nisser live in people's houses. You have to treat your House Nisse with kindness and respect, especially at Christmas time or else they cause trouble, lots of trouble. Maybe your harvest will fail, or stock will get ill, but if you treat the House Nisse well, you will get lots of help. You leave a bowl of risengrød (rice pudding) out at night before going to bed, with cinnamon sugar and a dollop of butter every day in December to keep the Nisse happy.

02

Local Delivery

We are based in the south of Scotland so delivery is possible but by arrangement only. We like to travel in our campervan so contact us to discuss this possibility.

Christmas decoration is a must in Scandinavian because it is so cosy and pleasant, and it brings the natural world into our home when it's cold and dark outside. In Denmark, we call it hygge.
